Sweep Terminology, what does it mean?

A:

Edges of wings are forged in a press so the sweep self-sharpens with field use.

STEM ANGLE

Refers to the angle the sweep shank forms with the horizontal plane of the ground. Determines the depth of soil penetration.

SIZE

Refers to the distance between the two outside edges of the wings of the sweep. The "cutting width" in the field.
